Chris’s involvement centered on program and experience architecture: shaping how attendees moved between high-impact plenary storytelling and the practical, hands-on environments where learning becomes adoption. Working in close collaboration with emc3, he brought his signature Mixperience methodology - emotional clarity, sensory intention, and narrative cohesion - to ensure that every room, transition, and touchpoint reinforced Motive’s promise: technology that makes real operations safer, smarter, and more profitable.

Across the event ecosystem, Chris helped align multiple audiences - safety, operations, finance, and technology stakeholders - around a shared storyline without flattening the nuance of each track. Smartsheet SKO FY’27 - Executive Producer - At MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Executive Producer Chris Mix represented emc3 to deliver Smartsheet’s FY27 Sales Kickoff: a high-stakes internal rally designed to reset operating rhythm, align the field around a credible growth plan, and sharpen Smartsheet’s transformation into an enterprise AI company. Spanning March 14 - 20, 2026, the program brought sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders into a single, unified narrative - one built not on hype, but on clarity, accountability, and execution.

Chris’s involvement focused on turning complex leadership messaging into a cohesive, staged experience that could land in the room with confidence. Working with emc3’s content and keynote room teams, he helped architect Day 1’s keynote “thread” end-to-end - ensuring speakers reinforced a shared spine. Through structured table reads and narrative alignment, Chris helped eliminate topic overlap, surface gaps early, and translate executive intent into clean run-of-show logic and visual direction that supported the story without devolving into feature dumps.

On the production side, Chris guided the technical and experiential infrastructure required to scale the program across breakout environments - coordinating the systems that keep a multi-day SKO precise: projection and screen packages, presenter support, confidence monitoring, audio and RF planning, drape/scenic masking, power distribution, and the labor architecture that makes fast turnarounds possible. The result was a program engineered with broadcast-level discipline - so the messaging could feel effortless, the rooms could run cleanly, and the audience could stay focused on what mattered: what’s changing, why it’s changing, and what the field is being asked to do next.

Smartsheet ENGAGE 2025 - Executive Producer- At the Seattle Convention Center’s Summit Building, Executive Producer Chris Mix, on behalf of emc3, delivered Smartsheet ENGAGE 2025, a four-day flagship conference experience designed to strengthen customer trust, accelerate enterprise adoption, and position Smartsheet as a long-term platform for modern work. From November 4–7, 2025, ENGAGE brought together leaders across operations, communications, and product to learn, connect, and align around what’s next - through a program built to feel both strategically precise and humanly energizing.

Chris’s role sat at the intersection of narrative architecture and production execution: shaping the event’s throughline across keynotes, breakouts, the Experience Hub, and high-touch networking moments - while ensuring every environment supported clarity, momentum, and real relationship-building. Working within emc3’s full production scope (A/V design, staging, project management, and multi-room programming), he helped guide ENGAGE beyond “conference logistics” into a cohesive ecosystem - where content, space, and pacing reinforced the same promise: work can move faster without losing alignment, trust, or meaning.

A defining element of the week was the layered event structure - Pre-Con Tuesday programming that included a Partner Summit at the convention center and an Executive Experience at 1 Hotel, paired with an elevated lounge aesthetic carried into Summit spaces for executive attendees. From there, ENGAGE unfolded across three core conference days of general session storytelling, breakout depth, and community-building in shared spaces - each designed to encourage organic collisions between customers, partners, and internal teams. Chris helped align these moving parts into a single, legible journey: one that balanced scale with intimacy, and ambition with operational control.

Behind the scenes, Chris also contributed to the strategic partnership posture that made ENGAGE a turning point for emc3’s relationship with Smartsheet - supporting onboarding, stakeholder alignment, and working rhythms that treated the work as a multi-year evolution rather than a one-off show. The result was an experience that delivered at enterprise scale while still feeling intentional - an ENGAGE that functioned not just as an annual moment, but as a platform for institutional momentum.

Motive Vision 25 - Executive Producer - At the iconic Fairmont Austin, Texas, Executive Producer Chris Mix collaborated with emc3 to deliver MotiveVision25, a groundbreaking three-day innovation summit that redefined the landscape of physical economy operations. From April 21-23, 2025, hundreds of industry leaders converged to explore the intersection of AI technology, operational excellence, and safety innovation.

Building upon the success of the previous year's inaugural conference, Chris brought his signature approach to emotional and sensory design to enhance the summit experience. The event architecture seamlessly wove together multiple narrative threads – from the hands-on exploration in the Motive & Partner Zone to the strategic discussions in the Safety Leader Bootcamp. Each space was thoughtfully curated to facilitate organic connections and spark innovative thinking among safety, operations, and finance leaders from across the country.

The program architecture balanced cutting-edge content with practical application, featuring interactive demonstrations of AI-powered computer vision, deep-dive sessions on preventative maintenance, and forward-looking discussions about the evolution of physical operations. Participants moved fluidly between collaborative strategy sessions and hands-on training, while designated networking spaces encouraged the cross-pollination of ideas among industry peers.

Genmab 25 - Executive Creative Producer - An all-company event traveling roadshow with stops in Princeton, New Jersey; Copenhagen, Denmark; Utrecht, The Netherlands; and Tokyo, Japan. These events communicated Genmab’s company mission and updates to its 2030 vision for all 2,500 employees around the globe. A two-year planning process; the scope included roadshow structure concept creation, initial budgeting, SOW negotiations, venue sourcing, project messaging and intent development, visual identity development, agenda creation, internal communications brand building, content creation (creative and communications presentations), attendee engagement leadership, logistical support, on-site production leadership, and client engagement leadership.

Affiliated Distributors North American Meetings - Creative Production and Content consultation - A series of events taking place in Chicago, Illinois, these gatherings bring the best suppliers and distributors of the construction trades together in one space to network, collaborate, and strategize the next year of business in this industry. Scope included developing a creative strategy to elevate and refresh portions of the meetings from years past, raising the attendee experience, and encouraging greater synergy between business leaders. The scope also included logistical and attendee management support throughout the 3-week event.
